Might be one of Scotland's most undervalued composers. The music (esp Glasgow Love Theme) in Love Actually was superb, and made a huge contribution to the excellence of that production. I've listened to that track over and over and over again. Then twenty years later I'm watching The Great Escaper, once again completely enthralled so a fantastic soundtrack so much so that I've now had to seek out who was behind it, and lo and behold-- it's Craig Armstrong again. He has a phenomenal talent to capture the heart with his melodies, and want to give my deepest and most sincere thanks and appreciation for the work.

Wow Craig ! When I saw the film for first time that was the song that I like more. It is Great like you. I shall try to know better your music. It is Magic. Congratulations. You are an excellent composer. Kind Regards from Canary Islands !

If Craig Armstrong knew that his way to compose his music follows all the moments, all the places of my life, here in Paris and of course in Britain near the sea, with birds, with my remembers, my trips . I have never heard his music in live, and Piano Works more than the others. Thank you, Mr Armstrong. I have Piano Works in CD, it's better than nothing. Sorry for this very bad english.

I heard this song for the first time through the heartbreaking masterpiece movie Laurence Anyways. After listening to the original version by The Blue Nile I prefer this reworked version. It was written by The Blue Nile's Paul Buchanan and is interpreted by Craig Armstrong.
